RTTNews - Thursday, the General Secretariat of the National Statistical Service of Greece said the Gross Domestic Product or GDP at constant prices dropped 1.2% sequentially in the first quarter compared to a 0.3% rise in the fourth quarter, confirming the flash estimate.

Annually, the report said GDP grew 0.3% in the first quarter, slower than a 2.4% growth in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the GDP at current prices fell 1.7% on a quarterly basis in the first quarter, reversing a 0.7% rise in the preceding quarter. Year-on-year, the GDP rose 1.8%, slowing from a 5.61% growth in the fourth quarter.
