The Greek finance minister Evangelos Venizelos concluded the emergency teleconference with international lenders on Monday and said he held substantive discussions with the EU and IMF officials about the next installment and the new bailout and will continue the negotiations late Tuesday in another teleconference.

The EC said the European Commission, International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank representatives will hold another conference with Greek officials on Tuesday evening. The EC spokesman Amadeu Altafaj said as it happens regularly, the mission chiefs of the Commission, the IMF and the ECB held a conference call with the Greek minister of finance and senior officials of his ministry on Monday 19 September adding that another will take place on Tuesday as technical discussions are ongoing in Athens.
