Greece released its GDP preliminary reading for the third quarter showing widened growth to 0.7% from the prior 0.3% which was revised to 0.4%, while economists predicted 0.8% expansion.

With regard to the working days adjusted reading on the year, it came analogous to the median estimates at -4.8%, better than the revised 5.8% contraction from -5.9%, whereas the non-seasonally-adjusted reading came in at -4.7% compared with the revised -7.0% from -7.1% and -5.0% projected.
