Greek police fire tear gas at parliament protesters
Greek police fired tear gas on Thursday to disperse a group of about 150 protesters as they rallied outside parliament to protest against an austerity package adopted by parliament.
Demonstrators were pelting a police cordon with bottles and stones and police fired tear gas to disperse them, a Reuters witness said. A majority of lawmakers earlier voted to approve the government's 30 billion euro austerity bill.
