The US dollar weakened against most of its major opponents in early trading on Thursday following the European Central Bank's decision to trim interest rate by 25 bps to 1.25 percent. The greenback fell to a 6-day low of 1.3420 against the euro and a 2-day low of 1.1364 against the Swiss franc by 7:45 am ET. The dollar also eased to 99.2 against the Japanese yen from its recently hit multi-month high of 99.92.
