After hitting a 19-day high of 80.8300 in early European trading, the US dollar edged down against its Kenyan shilling during New York deals on Wednesday. The greenback slid to 80.0000 against the shilling by about 12:05 pm ET from yesterday's North American session close of 80.6500. At present, the pair is worth 80.05.
