Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) is adjusting to life as a hexenbiest in "Grimm" Season 4. NBC

NBC’s “Grimm” returns Friday after a monthlong break with episode 14 of Season 4. As the season heads toward its climactic finale, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) -- newly transformed into a hexenbiest -- will play an ever bigger part.

During a press call, Tulloch talked about how Juliette is getting used to her new abilities and may even be starting to embrace the massive change she is going through. “There is a such a good push-pull,” Tulloch said. “First [Juliette] wanted to have a normal life back, but now that she’s learned how to control the hexenbiest within her she’s finding she enjoys that power.”

Juliette has been a hexenbiest since episode 8 of Season 4 after a mishap with the Verfluchte Zwillingsschwester potion, but she has been hiding her new condition from Nick (David Giuntoli). Following the new and improved Juliette’s epic fight with Adalind (Claire Coffee), however, she will have to tell Nick the truth in epsiode 14. Her grimm boyfriend will not be so happy about the news, but Tulloch said the fans have her back.

“I’ve enjoyed watching fans come to Juliette’s defense,” Tulloch said.

After three seasons of Juliette dealing with Nick being a grimm, it would appear only fair that he be empathetic about her new situation. When asked about the couple’s rocky relationship, Tulloch was optimistic that down the road the two characters will be able to reconcile.

“You would hope at some point that they would actually get married and have that peace,” Tulloch said. Meanwhile, though, Nick will have to adjust to his girlfriend's new identity.
