New York City-based Rockstar launched its “I’m Not A Hipster” update 1.14 on Tuesday for "GTA Online", but fans were disappointed when the developer didn’t include heists in the downloadable content. Rockstar addressed the issue Wednesday morning with a quick note to players on its Newswire.

"For those of you asking about other upcoming 'GTA Online' updates, we have lots more in store coming your way soon," the developer said. "We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated."

“GTA Online” fans have wanted the ability to team up with Crew members to take part in cooperate missions, or heists, since the game’s launch last fall.

"We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support,” Rockstar added. “Stay tuned for more information on that as well as lots of other ongoing content updates, enhancements and additions to the world of GTA Online that are on the way."

During the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles last week, Rockstar announced “GTA 5” would be coming to the PC, Xbox One and PS4 by the end of this year.
