Gun Shots Reported At Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has reported that shots were fired on campus, according to its Web site. Stay inside. Secure doors. Emergency personnel responding, the site reads.

So far, one victim has been listed as a police officer, another possible victim has not been confirmed.

The suspected gunman is described as a white male wearing gray sweat pants, a gray hate, maroon hoodie and backpack, walking on foot.

This was a traffic stop on campus, Williams said, NBC News reported. It was not someone walking around firing shots.

The school underwent a similar trauma four years ago, when Cho Seung-Hui shot 32 people dead before committing suicide.
