Gunmen fired at a Pakistan International Airlines plane while it landed in Peshawar, a northern Pakistani city, Tuesday evening, injuring a crew member and one passenger, police said, according to Reuters.

When it was attacked, the plane was carrying 178 passengers traveling from Saudi Arabia, police officer Asghar Khan said at the airport, the news agency said.

The shooting comes after a significant Taliban assault on the airport in the southern port city of Karachi earlier in June.
