"The Voice" judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani stick together and help each other out of awkward interviews. The group showed just how close they are Monday when Shelton and Stefani were asked about romance rumors.

In a joint interview with "Today" show (via Entertainment Tonight) to promote Season 9 of the NBC singing competition show, the "Sangria" crooner and No Doubt singer were asked if they think it's time to be up front with their relationship.

Before Stefani and Shelton could even respond Williams jumped in and said, "That was a nice segue." Levine then started jokingly singing, "Next question! Distraction. Ask the next question before it gets awkward.”

Shelton and his rumored girlfriend just laughed and refused to respond to the question. As previously reported, the pair sparked dating rumors a few months ago shortly after splitting from their spouses Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale.

The "Hollaback" singer and Shelton have played coy about the gossip, even though their reps confirmed in November that they are in fact dating.

Last month, Shelton's good friend and fellow country singer Luke Bryan dished on Shelton's relationship with Stefani and said the two are just "having fun."

"I laugh at how the hell he scored Gwen,” he said. "They're having fun and that's a good thing,"

He later told Entertainment Tonight during an interview last week that Shelton has yet to introduce him to Stefani.

“[Blake] doesn’t want me to hug her or anything,” he joked. “He doesn’t want me to meet her.”
