Gwyneth Paltrow is reumored to become a recording artist.

The Academy Award-winning actress signed a record deal with Atlantic Records for $900,000.

Paltrow has recently appeared in episodes of the hit FOX television show Glee as well as in the film, Country Song. The actress also performed at the Academy Awards Ceremony and previous did a fun, lively rendition of Cee-Lo's Forget You at the Grammy Awards.

Paltrow appeared in Tuesday's episode of Glee performing a number of songs including Kiss by Prince.

Paltrow had first talked about the possibility of an album during the red carpet event at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.

According to OK! Magazine, the album will be country pop. Paltrow has previously expressed interest in recording with rapper Jay-Z and with her husband Chris Martin, who is the lead singer of Coldplay.
