Academy award-winning actress Halle Berry suffered a head injury July 17 when she accidentally fell on the sets of her latest film,'The Hive.'
The Mail Online reported that Berry hit concrete when she fell, while shooting a fight sequence for 'The Hive' in Los Angeles.
Soon after the incident, she was rushed to the hospital as a precautionary measure and discharged after being declared healthy.
Authorities from the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/ OSHA) informed that they will not investigate the incident as it was not reported.
The Mail Online report also cited how it was not the first instance when the actress met with an accident while shooting for a film. In 2011, the former Bond actress broke her foot while shooting on the sets of 'Cloud Atlas' and missed the Academy Awards in February.
The 45-year-old actress is expected to resume shooting shortly for the thriller, 'The Hive,' which is set against the backdrop of a 911 call center.
In the upcoming film, Berry plays a 911 emergency operator who attends to a call from an abducted teenager, who's in a car boot. Also starring in the film is Abigail Breslin.
At present, the 'Swordfish' actress is engaged in a bitter custody battle for her daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry with former boyfriend and Calvin Klein Model Gabriel Aubry. Industry buzz has it that Berry has unleashed some of the top legal experts against Gabriel to win the case. The trial is being held later this month.
Currently, Berry is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez of the 'Unfaithful' fame.
