Yesterday, Halo Companies, Inc. subsidiary Halo Benefits, Inc. announced that it will now offer customers a discount pharmacy prescription card, HaloRx. The new card comes at a time when the cost of prescription drugs and customers demand for deals is rising.
Consumers can get the new service for free and can receive up to 60% in discounts on over 12,000 FDA approved drugs. HaloRx will be primarily marketed to associations, employers, and benefit groups, but the new product will be made available direct to consumer as well. The new product is the latest of new a la carte services offered by Halo Benefits and will be available to be downloaded from its website.
Kelly Harper, Program Director of Halo Benefits, Inc., explained, “All the consumer will need to do is fill out the information online, download and print their card, and take it to any participating pharmacy. It’s really that easy.”
The program also features a user-friendly pharmacy network and price search tool that enables consumers to easily identify participating pharmacies and look up the lowest price available for their prescription. The card is accepted at over 53,000 chain and independent pharmacies nationwide.
“We are excited about the opportunity to offer more affordable options to consumers with medication needs. With healthcare costs on the rise, consumers need a break,” states Tony Chron, President of Halo Benefits, Inc.
Additional products offered by Halo Benefits include consumer financial services and identity theft prevention tools. HaloSafe ID assists consumers in monitoring and restoring their identity when fraudulent activity occurs. Features include assistance in preparing documents, providing financial coaching and legal consultation, and up to $25,000 of reimbursement for expenses incurred in recovering from fraud or theft.
