Harmony Gold Mining Co. halted operations at its Tshepong mine in South Africa after a worker died following a fall of ground, the South Africa-focused company said Tuesday.
Operations have been stopped until all investigations into the accident have been completed, spokeswoman Henrika Basterfield said.
Shares of Harmony rose three cents to $13.01 in morning trading.
