Family Radio President Harold Camping delayed his Doomsday prediction till October 21, 2011, in an Open Forum at Family Radio headquarters at Oakland, California.

The radio evangelist, whose messages are broadcast over 66 radio stations worldwide, ranging from US to Kenya, China and Taiwan, told the media, Monday, that the world will survive for another 5 more months.

Instead of admitting that he had falsely predicted that on May 21, 2011, people will Rapture, Camping said he meant it in the spiritual sense and not physically. 'It is to be understood spiritually and not physically. Judgment has come, Judgment that was not prior to May 21, 2011, he said.

The 89-year-old radio evangelist also insisted that everyone should wait and watch till October 21, 2011. He had mentioned earlier that there will be violent earthquakes that will make Japan's earthquake look like a Sunday school picnic in comparison.

When asked why isn't he returning the money that followers, who invested in Camping's prediction, gave Family Radio, Camping said that money cannot be returned as Family Radio is still in business. We are not out of business. We still have to go another 5 months (till October 21, 2011), Camping said.

God is our CEO and we look to Him for guidance, he said.

This is not the first time Camping has delayed his Doomsday prediction. He had earlier predicted September 1994 as the Judgment Day but when nothing happened, he excused himself, saying he had miscalculated it.

The most recent Doomsday delay is almost certain to create more confusion and chaos and make people misunderstand Christianity.

When asked why does he focus so much on End Time predictions instead of preaching the Gospel, he avoided the issue by saying he will not answer any more questions as time is over.
