‘Harry Potter’ Star Daniel Radcliffe Engaged? Actor Reportedly Set To Wed Girlfriend Erin Darke

Avert your eyes, Harry-Ginny shippers, but “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe is reportedly planning to spend his life with someone other than a Weasley.

According to a report from the latest print issue of Star magazine, Radcliffe, 24, is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, actress Erin Darke. “They’re trying to keep it low-key because he’s very private,” an unidentified pal of the “Harry Potter” actor dished to the tabloid. “They’re both bursting with excitement. It’s the happiest we’ve seen him in years.”

According to the magazine’s sources, Radcliffe, who has yet to comment on the rumored engagement, just recently popped the question to his brunette girlfriend and “Kill Your Darlings” co-star, a proposal reportedly not graced by an engagement ring. The British film star and his better half are rumored to be picking out a sparkler during a trip to Paris before saying their “I dos” in Darke’s hometown.

“[They are] planning on tying the knot in an outdoor ceremony on the banks of Lake Michigan near Erin’s family home,” reads the report, adding that the film star’s nuptial will most likely take place within the next calendar year.

With a location locked down, Star is reporting that Radcliffe has already started work on his wedding guest list with a couple of his boy wizard co-stars making the cut. “Insiders say Daniel's former co-star Emma Watson will be in attendance because she adores Erin,” claims the magazine, adding, “Rupert Grint will serve as best man.”

Radcliffe and Darke, who met on the set of the John Krokidas film “Kill Your Darlings" in 2013, were last photographed together in New York in April, one of the couple’s first official sightings during their courtship. The duo first sparked relationship rumors after engaging in PDA at a Sundance Film Festival after party last January.
