With One Direction on hiatus since January 2016, members of the group — including Harry Styles — are planning on releasing solo albums. While not much is known about Harry Styles’ 2017 album, the singer has been teasing some info. Check out everything we know about Styles’ new music below:

The Single Is Coming April 7

While teasers for albums are nothing new, it’s not often that we get a teaser for a single. A 30-second clip uploaded to Styles’ YouTube account reveals his debut single, “Sign of the Times,” will release on April 7. The short video features some piano playing in the background but it’s uncertain if that’s part of the song.

He Will Be On “Saturday Night Live” To Promote It

Styles was announced as the musical performer for the April 15 episode of “Saturday Night Live.” Musical guests usually perform two songs during the show, so we can expect that Styles will have some new material to premiere.

Styles Is Working With Johnny McDaid

According to Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, Styles’ solo music will “blow the socks off the world.” McDaid has been collaborating with the singer “for years” and according to him, “the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with.”

The Album Isn’t Far From Completion

After signing with Columbia Records for his solo music, the label’s CEO, Rob Stringer, told Billboard in February, “We’re close and very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready.”

It Could Have A David Bowie And Queen Sound

According to Hits Daily Double, Styles has also collaborated with Jeff Bhasker — who has worked with Kanye West and Bruno Mars — to create an album that features sounds reminiscent of David Bowie and Queen.

We May Already Know Some Of The Song Titles

Towards the end of 2015, Styles registered four songs — “Already Home,” “Coco,” “Endlessly” and “5378 Miles” — with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The songs all have Styles listed as a co-writer along with McDaid and Gary Go. On all four tracks, Styles is listed as the only performer.
