Original story:

Disgraced Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein will head to Europe to go to a live-in sex addiction rehab facility, according to TMZ and the New York Post Tuesday.

Weinstein was the subject of a New York Times investigation that surfaced years of sexual harassment allegations last week. A New Yorker report accused Weinstein of sexual assault. Weinstein was fired from the production and distribution company he began with his brother, the Weinstein Company, on Sunday.

Weinstein’s wife, Georgina Chapman announced in a statement that she was leaving him. Chapman is a fashion designer and the couple has two children together.

“I have chosen to leave my husband,” said Chapman’s statement. “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions.”

Weinstein is also seeking treatment in the U.S. for other behavioral issues, according to The New York Post via Page Six.

A growing list of women are voicing allegations against Weinstein including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Ashley Judd and Patricia Arquette. In their stories to the Times, women allege Weinstein would often lure them to a hotel claiming a business reason. Once there, Weinstein would often get the women alone and request massages or to massage the women. Weinstein often would be wearing a bathrobe or be naked.

Judd said that Weinstein asked her to watch him shower. Paltrow said that Weinstein put his hands on her. Paltrow told her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt who threatened him. Weinstein turned around and insinuated Paltrow was to keep quiet or else her career was in danger.

The New Yorker report alleges that Weinstein forced women into oral and vaginal sex.

At least 29 women have come forward with allegations against Weinstein, according to the New York Magazine’s The Cut.

Weinstein has been condemned by a number of prominent Hollywood figures, but also a number of prominent Washington D.C. figures. In addition to being one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, Weinstein was also a liberal activist and Democratic donor. Former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have admonished Weinstein for his actions.
