Hasbro Inc reported a higher quarterly profit on Monday, boosted by demand for toys related to movies.

The world's No. 2 toymaker behind Mattel Inc , known for its Transformers and Playskool brands, said third-quarter net profit rose to $150.4 million, or 99 cents a share, from $138.2 million, or 89 cents a share, a year earlier.

Net revenue was $1.28 billion, down from $1.30 billion a year earlier.
