A week after announcing it would air a documentary about singer Beyonce in February, HBO Monday released a teaser trailer for it on its Youtube channel.

The 25-second ad opens with a partial shot of Beyonce’s face, and the singer speaking.

"I always battle with how much I reveal about myself," she says. "If I'm scared, be scared. Allow it. Release it."

The video cuts to a series of scenes from the singer's life, including concerts, childhood home videos and video chats. One shot shows Beyonce revealing a tiny baby bump from early in her pregnancy with daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyonce directs, stars in and executive produces the film, which debuts on Feb. 16, 2013.

HBO said the documentary "sheds light on her childhood in Houston, with home movies revealing the close bond she built with her family, and charts the challenges Beyoncé felt when she decided to manage her career and build her own company, Parkwood Entertainment."

Fans expressed their extreme excitement in the video’s comment section.

“Yassssss ! OMG, MOTHA Is Back !!!!! She's About To SLAY 2013 and Beyond ! Lol, Thanks HBO !!!!!! ♥ #BeyHive,” said Youtube user MrRudeEgo.

“OMG!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see Queen Bey! This will be EPIC!.” myofb1989 said.

Youtube user Pedro Henrique suggests that Feb. 16 was chosen for the premiere because Beyonce is a 16-time Grammy winner.
