Well the best way to use marijuana is in a vaporised form or edible form however, if you want to smoke it then the most discreet way would be a joint or spliff.

Both terms are used differently across the world but in Europe a joint normally refers to a pure-weed cigarette whereas as a spliff refers to a weed-tobacco mix cigarette. I personally prefer the joint because I stopped smoking tobacco and having tobacco presents an inherent temptation to smoke it.

It’s the most discreet way to smoke since it looks much like a cigarette, you can roll one up anywhere without carrying around suspicious looking bongs or pipes and the high hits you fairly quickly depending on what you’re smoking. Some strains take longer to kick in but some (like Girl Scout Cookies) will kick in before you even finish the joint.

A big reason why people prefer joints too is because it is similar to smoking a cig.

However, one way I like to smoke it at home and sometimes at parties is through a bong. One of my new ones…

They’re pretty easy to use and the high hits you relatively soon. Since the water filters out a lot of the harsh chemicals in smoke it is safer than smoking straight from a cig or a pipe.

Bongs can be a little more high-maintenance though. You have to clean them each use, buy pipe screens, they’re not very discrete, etc.

Be careful when you light up, I like to tilt the bong a bit to give a bit of leeway between my fingers and the flame from the lighter - just after this I burnt my thumb on my pipe, silly me.

Speaking of which, my favourite way to smoke at parties is now a pipe. I got a cheap one here and they’re multi-purpose. You can smoke a lot of stuff from these things like DMT. I’m not actually smoking weed here, just a demo.

The metal bit comes out and you can actually put your product in the bowl - works better for DMT which shouldn’t really be directly burnt with flame.

This method isn’t really safer than smoking from a joint or spliff but it’s more discrete and yo can take a pipe to parties. I find that you get bigger hits out of a pipe - not for someone who doesn’t smoke regularly, you might find it overwhelming.

Beware of holding the pipe from the bowl especially on this model of pipe since it gets hot and can burn your fingers.

You can alternate on which method to smoke depending on your situation. The joint is still preferred in countries where it’s illegal because it’s discrete and doesn’t draw attention like a pipe or bong does. Saying that, when you smoke a joint you’re also smoking the paper as well.
