Carlos Heroes Reborn
Carlos (Ryan Guzman) will take more steps in his journey and continue his brother's legacy as El Vengador on NBC's "Heroes Reborn" episode 4. Christos Kalohoridis/NBC

Evolved humans were faced with their worst nightmare at the end of "Heroes Reborn" episode 3 when theRenautas company revealed their new product, Epic. Epic is a set of glasses that allow humans to see if a person is an Evo, and the company can now track any Evo in the world. A familiar face may return in episode 4 of the NBC drama, titled "The Needs Of Many," to help those looking to put an end to Epic.

The promo video at the end of episode 3 showed Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) going to see "Heroes" fan-favorite Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), who says "my old friend," as he puts his hand on Bennet's shoulder. The synopsis teases that Bennet will be in search of "someone from his past" and will break into Renautas to search for more answers. Bennet and Quentin (Henry Zeborwski) will try to find out what really happened on June 13 and how Claire (Hayden Panettiere) was killed.

Miko (Kiki Sukezane) survived an attack by Harris (Clé Bennett), but also lost her sword in the process. With Ren's (Toru Uchikado) help, she will try to get her sword back and continue her mission of rescuing her father before it's too late. Tommy (Robbie Kay) was left in rough shape when episode 3 came to a close when the car he was traveling in with his mother was blindsided. He will have to use his powers to try and save her after their car overturns.

Carlos (Ryan Guzman) went head-to-head with Captain Dearing (Dylan Bruce) in episode 3. He learned the hard way that Dearing is an Evo himself with super strength and Carlos was able to narrowly escape from Dearing ... despite getting beat up pretty good. Carlos will return as El Vengador in episode 4 and is expected to take major steps forward in his journey to becoming a hero. There's also a clip in the promo video that shows him hitting a punching bag, breaking it in half. Could he be getting abilities as well?

Speaking of Evos hunting Evos, it looks like Luke (Zachary Levi) has abilities after his hands continued to glow repeatedly last episode. It will be interesting to see how Joanne (Judi Shekoni) handles this, especially since she has been so trigger happy and quick to kill Evos after the loss of their son. Will she turn on Luke or finally put her guns down?

Malina (Danika Yarosh) has only been shown briefly so far this season, but she appears to be a very important person. Renautas is hunting her and she appears to be the only one who knows what's coming. Hopefully episode 4 reveals more about who Malina is and what exactly she can do.
