There is no doubt that William and Kate Middleton have established themselves as the reigning king and queen of Hollywood during their royal California tour.

As the royal couple head back to London on Monday, their eleven-day tour to Canada and California as a married couple ends on a successful note.

On arriving at Los Angeles, California, the Duke and the Duchess attended a private reception on July 8, 2011 at the British Consul-General's residence.

The couple was joined by over 200 guests including David Beckham, Bob Iger and Stephen Fry. Duchess, Catherine, dressed in an emerald green, silk-belted Maja dress by Diane von Furstenberg, looked stunning. She paired the dress with beige platform stilettos and a leopard print clutch bag.

The second day marked the royal couple attending a charity polo match at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club in support of the American Friends of The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry in Santa Barbara, California.

However, the ultimate glam moment was when the couple attended the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) held at the Belasco Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

Dressed in a dazzling full-length gown by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton; Kate looked every inch a royal.

The embellished Grecian-inspired gown featured a high neckline with a sparkling silver belt. Catherine accessorized the gown with a pair of diamond chandelier earrings which she borrowed from the Queen and a clutch bag and shoes; both from Jimmy Choo.

From the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to the poverty of Skid Row, the Duke and the Duchess visited Inner City Arts, a project for disadvantaged children on Day three.

Here again the Duchess exhibited British elegance and glamour in a navy and white crochet top and a white pleat skirt, both from Whistles.
