width=201Joining the growing ranks of celebrity designers, Hilary Duff is set to debut a line of clothing for DKNY Jeans. Duff's new line, Femme for DKNY Jeans, is inspired by a rocker-chic aesthetic and will include liquid leggings, bomber jackets, skinny jeans, lightweight tees, strappy dresses, handbags, and plenty of fringe.

Inspired by Duff's personal style, the collection combines feminine elements such as poppies and sparkling sequins with more masculine fabrics such as vinyl and black denim. Multi-functional garments such as tunics with removable cowl scarves, skinny jeans with adjustable belt loops, tees with detachable and printed necklaces, and charmeuse cozies that layer like scarves are expected to be a hit among young fashionistas looking for versatility.

In addition to designing for DKNY, Duff will star alongside models Sophie Srej and Gracie Carvalho in the Femme for DKNY Jeans Fall 2009 ad campaign. Shot on the streets of Manhattan by photographer Scott Schuman, the ads are designed to reflect the individual style of trendsetting New Yorkers.

With a laundry list of achievements under her belt, the multi-talented actress/singer has proved successful in each of her endeavorsIf history does in fact itself, her latest collaboration with DKNY Jeans is expected to take shape quite fittingly. Femme for DKNY Jeans is set to hit shelves nationwide in August with prices ranging from $39 to $129.
