Heidi Montag is expecting her first baby with husband Spencer Pratt, and she’s excited about it. The “Hills” alum even showed off her large baby bump on social media ahead of her due date in October.

On Saturday, Montag took to Instagram to upload a photo update for her fans. In the picture, the 30-year-old is wearing a fitted gray dress and a pale blue jacket, which emphasized her huge seven-month-old bump. In her caption, she used the hashtag “#7monthspregnant” to reiterate it.

Montag first revealed to Us Weekly in May that she and Pratt were expecting their first child together, and it’s going to be a boy. Montag admitted at the time that she really wanted their first baby to be male. “It was in my heart to have a boy,” she said, “I hope to have a little girl one day, but for my first child, I really wanted a son.”

Revealing what her husband thinks, Montag said that Spencer did not mind anymore whether the baby turned out to be a boy or a girl. “I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, ‘Let’s just make sure it’s healthy. Boy or girl, I don’t care,’” she shared.

Montag is due to give birth on Oct. 19, and she thinks that when their little boy arrives it would be natural for him and Pratt to establish that bond as father and son. “I though it’d be a more natural bond for Spencer since he and his dad are so close,” she explained.

Speaking of Pratt, he recently dished to In Touch Weekly that Montag’s pregnancy does not get in the way of their sex life, unlike fellow “Hills” alum Whitney Port, who previously revealed that pregnancy sex isn’t really for her.

“We’re definitely closer,” Pratt said. “And let’s just say our sex life is the opposite of Whitney’s. But I can say any more than that because my mother will be reading this.”

As for Montag, she admitted that she’s very accepting of the changes her pregnancy has brought to her body. “So far I’ve gained 25 pounds and I’m embracing the changes,” she said. “I’ve gotten calls from surgeons offering surgery, but I want more kids, so no way, not now.”
