Wow.

A round of applause is in order for the fashion-forward department store that has truly outdone itself. H&M might have scored the likes of Donatella Versace and Marni but its Conscious line's Exclusive Glamour Collection might very well be its best capsule yet.

H&M will introduce the Exclusive Glamour Collection as part of its Conscious initiative on April 12 in 100 H&M stores worldwide. Not only is this collection delectably fabulous, it is also eco-friendly. At first glance, it is like Carrie Bradshaw's entire closet blazed onto the retail market with a price tag just a fraction of the cost of a luxury lookalike. A fashion lover's dream come true.

For fashion lovers, the red carpet has become as exciting as the catwalk, with celebrity gowns now creating their very own trends, reads H&M's press release for the collection. As part of its Conscious initiative, H&M has created an exclusive collection of red-carpet looks, all made from more sustainable materials such as organic cotton and hemp as well as recycled polyester. The collection showcases the diversity of what is now possible in greener fashion, with outfits in different styles reflecting the variety of today's red carpet fashion.

The collection is inspired by red carpet ensembles worn by some of today's hottest celebrities, some of whom have already worn pieces from the line to Hollywood events. Here are some of the celebrities who have already donned items from the Exclusive Glamour Collection:

- Amanda Seyfried: Blue tuxedo blazer and shorts at London premiere

- Viola Davis: Hot pink sleeveless top and skirt

- Kristen Davis: Apple green embroidered dress to Vanity Fair event

- Michelle Willams: Custom-made H&M gold-draped organic cotton bodice with a satin-backed crepe trumpet skirt at 2012 BAFTAs in London

Based on the press photos already released, H&M's Conscious initiative's newest collection is unparalleled. Such refinement and decadence has not yet been seen in a capsule collection. Of course the others were fantastic in their own ways - Versace was a glorious nod to 90s opulence and Marni offered everyday options for spring - but the Exclusive Glamour Collection is pure glamour.
