Liverpool may be heading the chase to sign Crystal Palace’s highly rated young winger Wilfried Zaha. Talks have already begun at Anfield over plans to sign the 19-year-old, according to the Sun.

The England Under-21 international has come to the attention of several Premier League clubs of late after some stirring performances for his Championship club. Zaha scored his second brace in as many games at the weekend.

Zaha would appear to be the type of exciting prospect Brendan Rodgers would welcome to continue his revolution at Anfield. Funds could be raised for Zaha, who is said to be valued at £12 million, with the potential departure of out-of-favor winger Stewart Downing. Rodgers recently suggested that Downing lacked the courage required at the highest level.

Liverpool are also interested in another potential attacking star in Hamburg’s Heung-Min Son, according to the Daily Mail. The South Korea international forward, who can play out wide or centrally, has scored four goals in seven Bundesliga appearances so far this season. The 20-year-old came through the German side’s youth academy.

Liverpool have also been mentioned of late as a possible destination for Malaga attacking midfielder Isco. The 20-year-old is thought to be interesting several leading Premier League clubs, particularly with Malaga’s current financial problems. While the La Liga outfit said they were eager to keep him, they conceded that they would have no choice but to sell if his £17 million release clause was met.

Isco, however, has said that he is not currently thinking about moving on.

“Malaga is on everyone's mouth now because of great displays in the Champions League,” he said, according to Metro.

“Besides, I have had two good performances and that's why my name has been heard more than anyone. I just have my mind in Malaga.”

While Liverpool’s obvious struggles have been in front of goal, there have also been problems on the defensive end. With that in mind, Brendan Rodgers is targeting Genoa center-back Andreas Granqvist, according to the Sun. The report claims that the Reds are prepared to offer £5 million for the Sweden international.

Granqvist has previous experience of the Premier League having spent time with Wigan between 2007 and 2008.
