EnerSys (ENS, NYSE) announced on Thursday various stockholders agreed to sell six million shares to Lehman Brothers Inc.(NYSE: LEH)

The Reading, Pa.-based energy solutions company said that stockholders including affiliates of Metalmark Capital LLC and certain other institutional stockholders would receive all the proceeds. EnerSys would receive nothing.

EnerSys provides stored energy solutions for industrial applications, manufactures and distributes reserve power and motive power batteries, chargers, power equipment, and battery accessories to customers worldwide.

EnerSys' share decreased 0.70 cents or 4.05 percent to close at $16.57 mid-day trading at the New York Stock Exchange.
