Robinson Cano proved he had legitimate long-ball power on Monday night when the Yankees slugger took home the 2011 Home Run Derby at Chase Field.

It was a Yankees - Red Sox duel with Cano outslugging Adrian Gonzalez, 12-11 in the final round. What made this year's derby stand out from other ones, was Cano's father, Jose Cano, threw the pitches that the second baseman hit out.

Cano and Gonzalez each hit 20 home runs in the first two rounds.

Other participants were Prince Fielder, who had nine, David Ortiz, who had nine, Matt Holliday who had five, Jose Bautista, who had four, Rickie Weeks, who had three, and Matt Kemp who had two.
