As of today, Lindsay Lohan will have to remain her home as part of her sentence for jewelry theft for four months.

As it was reported by Reuters, though, it is quite likely she will only serve 35 days out of the four month sentence.

Thursday morning, Lohan appeared at a Los Angeles jail and was deemed eligible for home confinement. She was fitted with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and released to her home, Los Angeles Sheriff's department spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

Ms. Lohan will be under the supervision of the sheriff's department and her release date is expected to be around June 29, Whitmore said. She will serve about 35 days on home detention.

It was two weeks ago that the 24 year old actress was sentenced to four months in jail and 480 hours of community service after pleading no contest to stealing a $2,500 gold necklace from a store in January.

The Mean Girls actress already started her community service at a women's jail.
