Due to the Super Bowl weekend, “Homeland” Season 6 took a short break but on Sunday, a brand-new episode premiered in which fans saw the palpable tension between Carrie (Claire Danes) and Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham). But the upcoming episode 5 this week will bring challenges to its characters.

In a spoiler report from Blasting News, “Homeland” Season 6 episode 5 titled, “Casus Belli,” will reportedly have two storylines. One will be more about Keane as she gets sidetracked and the second one is about Carrie’s work life taking a toll on her private life.

Unfortunately, its details were not further elaborated, making “Homeland” fans wonder what’s really in store in the upcoming episode. Will Carrie be able to get her private life on track? What has thrown Keane off the track?

As for the promotional video of the next episode, it was seen that Carrie and her daughter will be put in danger as she was held responsible for her actions by the whole city. CarterMatt added that the situations will lead to Quinn (Rupert Friend), who will be in the middle of a very precarious state where he is being held up.

Meanwhile, prior to the premiere of “Homeland” Season 6 episode 5, the previous episode depicted the growing tension between Carrie and Adal, especially since she has been working to advice President Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) in secret prior to her victory during the election. The episode also showed how they will with deal with Saul Berenson’s (Mandy Patinkin) abduction.

Sekou, on the other hand, was freed but TVLine reported the court issued an order saying he has to go underground and stop posting videos. Carrie even advised him to take the videos down but Sekou shrug it off. When Sekou went back to work as a delivery van driver en route to Manhattan, the van exploded, killing him instantly.
