NEW DELHI - Honda Motor Co does not plan to make an ultra-low cost car to take on Tata Motors' Nano, but is working on a second small car for India, Chief Executive Takanobu Ito said on Wednesday.

We don't have any plan for ultra low-cost car, Ito told a news conference in the Indian capital.

Honda, which makes premium sedans Honda City, Civic and Accord in India, earlier this year launched its first compact car in India, named the Jazz. (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy; Editing by John Mair)
