When “Mama June: Road to Redemption” came back with a new Season 6 episode Friday, fans saw Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson go through a roller coaster of emotions because of her mom and her love life.

In the episode, the 16-year-old reality star opened up during a one-on-one session with Dr. Ish. She told the therapist how her relationship with Mama June, 42, drastically changed.

“I just feel like it’s just really messed up because me and mama used to be so close. We used to do everything together, and now it’s like she disappeared on me,” she was quoted by Reality Titbit as saying in the episode.

As she continued to share her thoughts, Alana broke down in tears while admitting that her mom has not been there for her most of her life.

“At this point, it’s like whatever. For the first half of my life, I lived with Doe Doe. I mean, I didn’t know what mama was up to. I just learned to grow up on my own, and mama wasn’t around then and she’s barely around now,” she said.

Later in the episode, the former “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star took a break from the drama when she went on her first date with her boyfriend Dralin Carswell, 20. The couple went bowling, and when it was time for them to go home, Dralin took Alana to her house. When they reached her place, Alana got her first kiss with Dralin before he left.

There had been rumors claiming that Alana and Dralin got engaged secretly, especially when she was spotted rocking a diamond sparkler on her left ring finger last month. However, a spokesperson for the teen star insisted that it was “just a ring” and not an engagement band.

Meanwhile, celebrity entertainment news outlet The Blast recently leaked on Twitter that Alana could be “setting herself up for a new reality show.” The outlet did not reveal specific details, but fans have been clamoring for this for a long time ever since Mama June walked away from her daughters in early 2019.

Last week, when Honey Boo Boo shared a teaser for the new “Road to Redemption” episode, fans once again urged the producers to come up with a show centered on Alana and her sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 22.

“How many shows have been centered on June? How about giving these kids a show about themselves and paying them? At least it would be money well spent,” one wrote.

“June and her sick-looking boyfriend need to be kicked off the show. ... Let it be about Pumpkin, Alana and her family. No June!!!” another commented.

“Mama June: Road to Redemption” airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EDT on We TV.
