Hong Kong economy released its gross domestic product seasonally adjusted reading for the fourth quarter of 2010, where economic growth expanded 1.5%, compared with a previous 0.7% in the third quarter, which was revised to 0.9%, and the expectations estimated of 1.2%.

Moreover, annualized GDP rose 6.2% during the quarter of September to December, from 6.8% a year earlier that revised to 6.7%, where the analysts' forecasts referred to 5.5%.

While the annual gross domestic product for the 12 months ended December, expanded 6.8%, compared with a previous contraction by 2.7% in 2009, was revised to -2.8%, and the anticipations predicted of 6.7%.
