House prices up 6.0 percent in July
House prices rose 6.0 percent year on year in July compared with a 5.3 percent gain reported for the previous month, the government said on Monday.
The Department for Communities and Local Government, formerly the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, said the average house price stood at 194,454 pounds in July compared with 191,016 in June.
