Housing starts in Japan

Housing starts in Japan declined -19.1% in November from a year earlier following a decline by -27.1%, while the forecasted reading was -23.0%. Annualized housing starts recorded 0.798 million unit in November compared with a previous 0.762 million unit, and it came more than expectations referring to 0.756 million unit. Regarding construction spending, it fell -11.6% in November from -40.1%.
