The Japanese economy issued the housing start annual reading which declined -4.6% during May. The actual reading came lower then a previous reading that identified of 0.6%, while the analysts' expectations referred to 5%.

Also annualized housing starts recorded 0.737 million unit in May compared with a previous 0.793 million unit, while the actual reading is lower than analysts' forecasts that estimated to 0.810 million unit.

Moreover, the construction orders which started inception during May, where the index released with 9.2% compared with a pervious of -0.25 a year earlier.
