Porn star Amber Rayne was found dead in her Los Angeles home late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, Radar Online wrote Monday. She was 31 years old.

The cause of death was not immediately known, though an overdose was suspected, Radar Online noted. A toxicology report was pending at the time this article was written. Her death also could have been a result of an accident, the assistant chief of the medical examiner’s office, Ed Winter, said. Rayne “passed away peacefully in her sleep at home either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning,” a source said.

The adult film star, whose real name was Meghan Wren, was with a friend in her Los Angeles home when she collapsed. The person, whose name has not yet been released, called 911. When paramedics arrived, Rayne was dead.

Rayne, who was a 10-year veteran in the adult entertainment industry, was one of the women who accused fellow adult actor James Deen of sexual assault. She followed the lead of Stoya, the first XXX entertainer to make the accusation.

“James Deen held me down and f---ed me while I said no, stop, used my safeword,” Stoya alleged on Twitter last fall. “I just can’t nod and smile when people bring him up anymore."

Rayne revealed she once called Deen a “son of a bitch,” an apparent “trigger” for him, she told the Daily Beast in 2015. This made him upset and led him to punch her in the face two times and penetrated her so violently she bled, she said. Deen denied the accusation to the Daily Beast, saying he was “completely baffled.”

The day of her death, Rayne was active on social media. She interacted with friends and shared emoiji of smiley faces. She described herself on Twitter as the following: “Just a lil vixen hiding behind the girl next door facade, San Jose sharks fan for life, crazy eventer turned dressage princess, and yes, I’m terrified of Smurfs.”
