“How To Get Away With Murder” fans won’t have to endure an entire season to solve this year’s murder mystery. In Season 1, fans had to wait until the midseason finale to discover that Wes (Alfred Enoch) was Sam’s (Tom Verica) killer and until the finale to discover that Frank (Charlie Weber) killed Lila (Megan West). Although Rebecca (Katie Findlay) was only killed in the finale, audiences will know who killed her in the premiere, according to Entertainment Weekly.

That means fans only have until September to figure out who murdered Rebecca. As previously reported, Katie Findlay is already on set to film “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 2, so we’ll likely see her death scene via a flashback. We know that Annalise (Viola Davis) and Frank didn’t kill her, so who did it? Let’s start theorizing!

Wes: The sweet boy with the puppy dog eyes was going off the deep end by the end of “HTGAWM” Season 1. He may have taken Annalise’s advice to “be a man” the wrong way.

Laurel: The quiet student (Karla Souza) weirdly gained a lot of confidence after covering up Sam’s murder. After all, hiding Michaela’s (Aja Naomi King) ring was a bold move. When she asked Frank to fix the situation, Bonnie (Liza Weil) reprimanded Laurel for getting him involved. She may have decided that she had to take matters into her own hands.

Michaela: After breaking off her engagement, Michaela said, “I love me.” She was committed to making herself a life that she’d be happy to live. Rebecca was a wild card, so maybe she felt that killing her was necessary.

Connor: The tough guy (Jack Falahee) was seriously afraid of going to prison for Sam’s murder. This seems unlikely, but if he thought that Rebecca could land him in jail, he might have thought that another murder was the only way to go.

Bonnie: Annalise’s assistant doesn't have a lot of motive, but maybe she was just done with all of this murder business. Laurel had asked for help with Rebecca earlier, and she knew the students wouldn't be able to handle killing someone. If Rebecca wasn’t going to cooperate, she just had to kill her.

Asher: This is really a reach, but it's still possible. It seems unlikely since we don’t think Asher (Matt McGorry) was in the house, but perhaps he snuck in and out unnoticed. Viewers believe he is completely oblivious to the murderous actions of his classmates, but maybe he knows more than he let on. His motive seems unclear, unless he’s really that desperate to fit in. Still, it’s “How to Get Away With Murder.” Nothing is too shocking for a Shonda Rhimes-produced drama.
