“How I Met Your Mother” will be getting a new view when the CBS sitcom returns for its ninth and final season. Talk show cohost Sherri Shepherd is set to guest-star in the special hourlong season premiere on Sept. 23.

Shepherd shared the exciting news with fans by tweeting a photo on Thursday, July 11. “On the set of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ working w my baby Jason Segel #living a #dream,” she posted along with a picture from the set. The photo shows her snuggling up to Segel as he kisses her forehead.

Although Shepherd didn’t say whom she’ll be playing, it’s speculated that she’ll be playing the role of Camille. TVLine.com previously dished that the new female character would be introduced in episode one, “The Locket.”

Camille was initially described as an African-American or Latina women in her 30s or 40s. “How I Met Your Mother” fans will first meet her when she has the pleasure of sitting next to Marshall on his flight from Minnesota to New York City. Unfortunately the experience is not pleasurable for either of them when Camille becomes “so annoyed with Marshall’s erratic behavior that a confrontation ensues.” Both Marshall and Camille will find themselves escorted off the plane prior to take-off.

Sherri Shepherd’s casting comes on the heels of news that Wayne Brady has been upped to a recurring character. Brady, who plays Barney’s brother, was previously a guest star on the sitcom. Meanwhile Cristin Milioti, who was introduced as “the mother” in the season eight finale, has been made a series regular for season nine.

“How I Met Your Mother” began filming on July 10. Besides the episode one title, the second and third episode titles have been leaked as well. Episode two is currently titled “Coming Back,” while episode three is titled, “The Broken Code.”
