CBS hit series “How I Met Your Mother” has been running for eight seasons. In that time, the older and wiser Ted Mosby, voiced by Bob Saget, has been telling the story to his patiently waiting children -- until now. At San Diego Comic-Con, or SDCC, CBS released a video on Saturday with David Henri (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) and Lyndsy Fonseca (“Nikita”) reprising their roles as Ted’s children, who have finally had enough of their father talking about everything except for how he met their mother. The video opens to Mosby’s traditional narrative opening, when his son and daughter interrupt him and they finally explode with anger that their dad had kept telling them the story in his den for eight years straight. His son angrily exclaims, “We’ve been s----ing in a f---ing bucket!”

After their anger and expletive rant, Mosby finally realizes and voices what the viewers want at this point -- to finally wrap up the story of “How I Met Your Mother.”

“How I Met Your Mother” has been on the air since 2005 and will enter its final season on Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. EST.
