With no wires it seems it’s just a matter of time before you lose your pair of Apple's AirPods. Here's a way that guarantees you won't lose your AirPods. Apple

When Apple debuted its new wireless AirPods, people couldn’t stop joking about losing the small earbuds. With no wires it seems it’s just a matter of time before you lose one side, which will cost $69 each to replace.

So how can you keep track of Apple’s AirPods if there’s no cord to make sure you don’t misplace them?An iOS engineer named Andrew Cornett wrote on Twitter that he’s “Figured out how I’m gonna keep these AirPods from falling out of my ears.”

Cornett managed to find a way to jam the stems of the earbuds into an enlarged piercing on his earlobes. While most people might freak out about this, it might be an effective solution.

For those who are curious, Cornett says he has a size 0 gauge and “they juuuust fit.”

Otherwise, every time you take your AirPods out, make sure you put them back in the case. Always put the case somewhere safe - like your nightstand or pocket in a bag. If you have kids, you’ll want to hide them where they can’t reach them.

The initial inventory of Apple’s AirPods sold out within minutes on Apple’s site - while most Apple stores in the U.S. had them on Wednesday, they quickly sold out. It’s just a matter of figuring out which stores have Apple’s AirPods in stock. IStockNow.com will give you live inventory updates for all major Apple products at every Apple Store. While this information is found on Apple’s website, there’s no way to view it on a map or check multiple stores at the same time.
