In an interview that seems dreamed up in the "Saturday Night Live" writers room, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is going to sit down with Republican candidate Donald Trump Friday night. The interview, which will air on the One America News Network, was announced by Palin on her Facebook page.

Palin has been moonlighting as the guest host this week of the conservative news show "On Point" and announced the interview Friday while simultaneously criticizing mainstream media for directing questions at Trump about Bible passages.

"Lamestream media asks GOP personal, spiritual 'gotchas' that they'd NEVER ask Hillary, or they'd feed the question to her and/or liberal cohorts before they asked it on-air (we know how these things work, lapdog media ... the public's on to you), so good on Trump for screwing with the reporter," she wrote. "By the way, even with my reading scripture everyday I wouldn't want to answer the guy's question either ... it's none of his business; it IS personal; what the heck does it have to do with serving as commander-in-chief; and these reporters trying to trip up conservatives can go pound sand until they ask the same things of their favored liberal pals."

The interview will air at 10 P.M. EST Friday, but only on the few select cable providers that air the conservative network, reported Mother Jones. OAN lists all all the providers that offer the network here. The show can also be streamed on the OAN app on Amazon Fire, Roku and KlowdTV.

Palin previously was a contributor at Fox News, but the network parted ways with the former Alaskan governor in June, reported Poltico. Trump and Fox News have a rocky relationship -- the real estate mogul has blasted the network for what he feels was unfair treatment during the Republican debate.
