Hewlett-Packard Co. announced its ProBook laptop, a new line of inexpensive laptops for small and medium-size companies.

The new HP Probooks feature high-definition LED backlit display screens. a new spacious keyboard layout, spill-proof, and have sleek design to get rid of crumbs and dirt from falling inside.

“The stunning HP ProBook s-series delivers exceptional style and aggressive pricing that will captivate small and medium business users,” said Ted Clark, senior vice president and general manager, Notebook Global Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP.

The HP lineup Comprises the:

-HP ProBook 4410s and HP ProBook 4415s – Feature a 14-inch diagonal 16:9 HD widescreen LED backlight display, integrated optical drive with Blu-ray option. a choice of graphics controller and a choice of processor between Intel (4410s) or AMD (4415s) processors.

-HP ProBook 4510s and HP ProBook 4515s – Offers a 15.6-inch diagonal 16:9 HD widescreen LED backlight display. Offers option for HP Mobile Broadband and Bluetooth wireless technology.

-HP ProBook 4710s – Features a 17.3-inch diagonal HD widescreen display, includes the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330, with up to 512 megabytes of GDDR2 for video memory. IT features the latest Intel Core™ 2 Duo processors, and an option for integrated Bluetooth wireless technology.

It's pretty much a natural evolution, said Carol Hess- Nickels, HP's director of marketing for worldwide business notebooks. We want to provide a different option...it's probably a little time yet before we'll know exactly what the demand is, but we did think it was something worth trying.
