On Tuesday, HP has announced that it has signed a a five-year workplace services contract deal with AkzoNobel N.V. that could save cost and increase employee productivity.

As part of the deal, AkzoNobel N.V a Netherlands-based Fortune Global 500 industrial company will receive approximately 26,000 employees in 29 countries from HP.

The deal includes a global service desk in 13 languages, application life cycle management, asset management and mobility services.

“HP’s workplace services will equip our employees with consistent, high-quality, secure technology support so we can maintain our focus and industry leadership moving forward,” said Pieter Schoehuijs, chief information officer at AkzoNobel.

The deal will allow HP to resolve complex hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently while helping with less cost while accelerating its growth.
