HTC, the leading maker of Android devices will unveil Puccini tablet, iPad’s rival next Monday (June 27) at a special event in London along with other devices, according to a Dutch news report.

The 10-inch tablet, which is a bigger version of HTC Flyer was revealed way back in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Android 3.0 powered device comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1280x800 display and LTE support for AT&T. The HTC Scribe technology, shown off on the Flyer, will also be featured.

The device has already been launched in UK but the heavy price tag (£600 for the 32GB version) is making it a tough sell, based on Amazon's best selling tablets list.

The tablet is expected to have some special music-related feature as well, as it is named after Italian opera composer Giacomo Puccini.
