Cher Wang, CEO of HTC, hinted that the tech giant is working on a high-end smartphone, after the disastrous response to the flagship One M9. The upcoming device is reportedly named “HTC One A9,” although many Websites refer the device as “HTC Aero.”

Here is a list of all the configuration and pricing details reported so far about the HTC One A9, which is expected to be released on Sept. 29.

Right after launching the mid-range HTC Desire 728, the Taiwanese tech giant has apparently started sending invitations to a special event, where two new high-end handsets are expected to be unveiled. One of them is reported to be the HTC One A9, Phone Arena reported. The invite says: "The World Best Meets The Best.”

Speaking of HTC One A9 specifications, the handset will reportedly come powered by a superior deca-core (MediaTek) Helio X20 processor and backed by a, improved 4 GB of RAM. While there is no confirmation on the display size, the phone will apparently flaunt a QHD screen resolution.

Reports also said that HTC is silently working on a “groundbreaking rear camera” for the One A9. Reports also suggested that the rear-facing sensor could come with the capability to capture RAW photos.

The HTC One A9 is also expected to be released in two colors -- Tyrant Gold and Dark Gray. Similar to other high-end devices, the A9 will also sport a full-metal build. This device is believed to feature 2.5D curved glass display to offer impressive viewing experience.

As far as the HTC One A9 price is concerned, the smartphone will likely cost in the range of $470 and $626. According to Phone Arena, AT&T will be selling the handset after it is released in the U.S. However, HTC has not yet confirmed the One A9 specifications or price so far.
