T-Mobile’s upcoming HTC smartphone, Ruby, has been leaked and, according to reports, it could be the same as that of HTC’s forthcoming smartphone HTC Amaze 4G.

According to a previous Engadget report, the HTC Ruby was scheduled for an Oct. 26 release. The smartphone’s carrier was still uncertain at that time, but was later confirmed to be T-Mobile. The device is now rumored to be called Amaze 4G under T-Mobile.

The device, previously, was also known as EVO Design 4G and has been rumored to arrive with high-end features. The Ruby/Amaze 4G is expected to arrive with a 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 qHD display, an 8 MP dual LED flash camera and an industry-first dual-core 1.5GHz processor.

The smartphone will also have 1GB of internal RAM, 16GB storage and will run on Android 2.3 with Sense 3.5. The sense option, however, didn’t appear in the device’s prototype. Other rumored features include DC-HSPA+ speeds with the possibility of 42 Mbps data transfer, according to a pocketbow.com report.

Both HTC Ruby/Amaze 4G and Samsung Hercules are expected to hit the U.S. markets on Oct. 26.
