As Apple, Samsung and Motorola are delaying their much awaited smartphones in days to come, HTC has taken advantage of the situation and has introduced three smartphones that surely has caught the attention of smartphone consumers.

The three smartphones namely HTC EVO 3D 4G, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC myTouch 4G slide are different variant smartphones that offers the 3D display, high specs and the QWERTY slide option respectively.

The HTC Sensation 4G is much accomplished device which is compared with smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S2 and Motorola Photon 4G. As HTC doesn’t compromise with the device styling and design, it is a pleasure to hold and operate the smartphone. The phones battery efficiency and display resolution along with powerful processor has made it a smartphone in US that gives the feel of Samsung Galaxy S2, expectation being the NFC technology in Samsungs flagship phone.

The main attraction of HTC Sensation 4G, HTC EVO 3D and myTouch 4G slide include.

Physical appearance:
HTC has wrapped the aluminum frame around the sides, back, and even in the small portion of the Sensation's front while HTC EVO 3D looks solid but when it comes to outer wrapping, the materials fail to impress as much as HTC Sensation 4G. In fact HTC EVO 3D is the better version of HTC EVO 4G with 3D effect but with few changes.

The myTouch slide 4G has a physical QWERTY and touch screen capability similar to the upcoming Motorola Droid 3.

Battery life:
People who don’t like recharging their phone every single night can go with HTC Sensation smartphone as it lasts for a good couple of days casual use. Although Samsung Galaxy S2 has a Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery compared to HTC Sensation 4G’s Li-Ion 1520 mAh, they both offer up to 8 h 40 min talk time. The HTC smartphones super LCD display consumes lesser energy compared to Galaxy S2’s Super AMOLDED display and reviews on the phone has shown it to be better than Galaxy S2 for lasting battery life.

The HTC EVO 3D comes with powerful 1730 mAh battery but the inclusion of 3D shows how much the battery life can reduce. It gives up to 7 h 45 min talk time which is not bad compared to many other smartphones in the market today. Moreover LG Thrill 4G aka LG Optimus 3D is the other smartphone 3D smartphone coming to US but has a lesser battery of 1500 mAh capacity giving up to 7 h 30 min talk time. And HTC myTouch slide 4G’s battery life is yet to be tested officially.

Display:
The display section offers a better resolution of 4.3-inch 960 x 540 pixels in HTC Sensation 4G and HTC EVO 3D, giving you more of everything as the browser fits in more of the website contents without having to scroll down too much. The images taken from camera appears better with more dots, watching full screen videos, downloading and recording brings that extra big advantage with better pixels in qHD. But when it comes to quality and sheer feeling of luxury, the Galaxy S2 leads ahead of Sensation 4G because of its Super AMOLED display. However HTC EVO 3D Super LCD display sports glasses-free stereoscopic content but it is not the best qHD display in the market. Motorola Droid X2 and Incredible 2 comes with same qHD display or with better quality when compared to HTC EVO 3D.

T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G slide comes with 3.7-inch 480 x 800 pixels display screen but the other slider phone Droid 3 is expected to come with 4-inch 540 x 960 pixels qHD resolution display.

Camera:
HTC Sensation 4G has camera software dubbed as Instant capture, allowing one to take instant shoots without toggling. The 8-megapixel 3264x2448 pixel comes with dual-LED flash support compared to Galaxy S2’s LED-flash capability. HTC Sensation can capture video at 1080p while HTC EVO 3D coming with 5-megapixel camera supports dual-LED flash and also video capture is of debate as of now as Engadget points out “Here is the statement we received from Sprint: The correct specs on the device are: HTC EVO 3D captures video in HD quality up to 720p and playback up to 1080p on both 2D and 3D. We will make the change in our spec sheet right now and also alert the other media outlets as well as make the change on our newsroom.”

The slider smartphone from HTC also comes with 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing video at 1080p with support of dual-LED flash. However the Motorola Droid 3 smartphone comes with 8-megapixel camera capturing video at 1080p HD with LED flash support.

Also myTouch 4G Slide features the most advanced camera of any smartphone with zero shutter lag, backside illuminated sensor and additional premium digital camera features that offer consumers a viable replacement for their digital point-and-shoot cameras.

Operating system:
All the three HTC smartphones along with Samsung Galaxy S2 and Droid 3 is powered by Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread).

Processor:
HTC Sensation, HTC EVO 3D and myTouch 4G slide has 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor whereas Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and Droid 3 features dual core TI OMAP 4 1 GHZ processor.

The main highlight feature of HTC Sensation is its video-on-demand service and the HTC Watch. It leverages “progressive download” technology so that users may watch videos without waiting for the content to finish downloading. HTC Watch also allows users to instantly access a complete library of the latest as well as classic movies and TV shows. There is a Video Trimmer tool which allows users to crop their clips to desired size, allowing users to upload videos to different social networking websites for sharing them with family and friends.

The latest new round ups of HTC Sensation show that Wirefly has reduced the price tag on the Sensation down to $129.99 as part of Independence Day celebration for both new customers and upgrades, beating both the T-Mobile and Amazon price tags by at least $70 margin.

The HTC EVO 3D has a price tag of $199 from Sprint with a two year contract, but Wirefly offers it for $150. An EVO 3D with T-Mobile USA 3G bands has cleared the FCC testing while Sprint version is already available in the market.

T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G slide is expected to be available in July according to press release. It was also revealed that T-Mobile’s high-speed 4G network is now available in more than 190 markets serving 200 million people across the United States. It is expected that T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide customers in these areas can benefit from 4G speeds. They can instantly capture and share special moments with friends and family.

According to Droid-Life, the Motorola Droid 3 is expected to be released on July 7 via Direct Fill, and on July 14 in all channels but there is no confirmation of how much it will cost.

Meanwhile Galaxy S2 smartphone is expected to arrive on Verizon network as Function in July and Sprint may have it in September as Within. Even AT&T will have its hands on “Attain” version of it. Moreover surprisingly Samsung Galaxy S2 has has broken Samsungs own record by reaching the sales of 3 million within 55 days. That's approximately 50,000 phones a day. According to Samsung, most of these phones were consumed by Europe.
